Recorder
1. Attends all council and executive committee meetings
2. Keeps accurate minutes at all meetings and publishes same to all
officers and
members attending council and officer meetings
3. Attends all council functions if possible
4. Attends all District and Diocesan Meetings and training sessions and
promotes
the active attendance at same to fellow officers and council directors
5. Writes council correspondence as directed by the Grand Knight
6. Keeps records of incoming correspondence as directed by the Grand
Knight
7. Provides all council meeting and officer meeting minutes, other
council records
and all council reports to the council Trustees for the audit on a
semi-annual basis
8. Compiles and presents Grand Knight with an “annual
binder” labeled by Fraternal
year, the contents of which are: all council and officer meeting
minutes; all
correspondence received by council and turned over by Grand Knight for
council
archives; copies of both semi-annual audit forms (Supreme Form 1295)
and all
relative accompanying documents; copies of all correspondence from the
council
to the State and Supreme offices.
