TREASURER DUTIES

Treasurer

1. Attends Treasurer Diocesan Training upon election to the office of Treasurer.This is not optional.

2. Maintains accurate records of all council financial transactions

3. Writes checks as necessary following approval of vouchers

4. Works with the Financial Secretary and Trustees as necessary to keep financial records

5. Issues receipts for money received from the Financial Secretary

6. Issues payments to the Supreme Council for assessments

7. Provides a voucher to the Grand Knight verifying all transactions

8. Provides up-to-date records of council finances

9. Attends all executive committee meetings and all council meetings

10. Attends all council functions if possible

11. Attends all District and Diocesan Meetings and training sessions and promotes the active attendance at same to fellow officers and council directors

12. Provides all financial records and reports maintained by the Treasurer to the Trustees for the audit on a semi-annual basis
